Bones star David Boreanaz has revealed that his character Booth might continue to be battling for his life as the show enters Season 10.

Bones fans were shocked by the Season 9 finale, which ended with Booth horribly wounded and also charged with murder FBI agents while Brennan (Emily Deschanel) was taken away for questioning. Boreanaz, Deschanel and others spoke about the Season 9 finale in a new video posted by E! Online, and what it means for Season 10.

"We leave off with Booth fighting for his life and we don't know what the deal is as far as his health is concerned," Boreanaz explains in the video.

Meanwhile, Deschanel says that fans should prepare for "a lot of changes." She noted that the Season 9 finale "leaves a big cliffhanger at the end. It brings a lot of changes for our characters, especially going into Season 10."

As Enstars previously reported, the show will fast forward to three months later in Season 10, with Booth and Brennan having seen each other but not "touched" each other, according to executive producer Stephen Nathan. The producer told TVLine that the couple at the center of the series will have been through "a lot" as the season premieres.

Bones Season 10 premieres in fall 2014 on Fox, though the network has not yet announced a premiere date. It will be moving to another night once again, moving to the Thursdays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
