Instagram model and gymnast McKayla Maroney posted a new photo of herself that is not getting as many nice comments as some of her other images.

The picture that was posted on the gymnast's page on Thursday shows her face as she gives a slight smile with her eyes looking sideways. Her hair is flowing down as she has a hand up near her face with a dark shadow cast behind her.

The picture is captioned, "say what you need to say."

Despite having a wide number of followers and likes, Maroney's picture has received a couple of critical comments.

Someone wrote, "Oink oink.....piggy nose?" while someone else wrote, "You look like the dragon from shrek."

Most of Maroney's images are of random selfies while others include moments with friends. Earlier this week, she posted a photo of herself with a companion as they both blow a kiss to the camera. The gymnast is wearing a tight black dress as her friend is wearing a black top, leather jacket and jeans.

This picture's caption reads, "HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY TO MY BEST FRIEND @alyraisman you already know how much i love you xx."

Apparently, the model-gymnast is in the process of making a video that is supposed to be helpful to others. Based on her latest tweet, it should be coming out shortly.

"a beautiful fan of mine asked me to make a video about self confidence, and how to attain it, and i just finished filming it xx stay tuned(:," the caption reads with two hearts added in.
