The couple been talking about having a family for a while now. In a 2011 interview with Access Hollywood, Underwood, 31, said that she would like to have children in the "future, future, future," emphasizing that, while it was something she wanted, it was not something she was ready for just yet.

Underwood feared that having children too soon would mean that the kids would not spend enough time with their parents, each of whom were busy focusing on their respective careers. She then went on to admit that "neither one of us are willing to bend on what we do right now."

It's been five years since that interview aired, and still the couple is conflicted on the parenting front.

When asked in a May 2014 interview with MSN whether she prefers the road or the studio, she said the "road," which could be an indication that she is not ready to give up touring for kids just yet.

Rumors have even begun to spread that Fisher, who is reportedly ready for children, is willing to divorce Underwood for her unwillingness to commit.

With that 2011 "future, future, future" coming up soon, Underwood might have to make a decision sooner than she wants.
