It looks as though Bethenny Frankel's divorce case with her soon-to-be ex-husband Jason Hoppy is not only hurting her popularity with her fans, but damaging her SkinnyGirl business as well.

Bethenny Frankel Concentrating On Her SkinnyGirl Label Now That She's No Longer On Television?

There are new reports that indicate Frankel has been advised to settle her custody battle over her 4-year-old daughter Bryn with Hoppy in order to save her SkinnyGirl empire. The former talk show host and reality television star is refusing to settle though, as she wants full custody of the ex-couple's only child.

"Bethenny's camp is concerned it could really damage her SkinnyGirl brand, but she isn't taking anyone's advice, and won't voluntarily agree to sharing custody of Bryn," a source close to the television personality says.

Bethenny Frankel Compares Her Divorce To Ice Cream?

Meanwhile, it seems as though Frankel's latest book, Cookie Meets Peanut is already being called a failure after very few fans turned up to her book signing event in New York City last week. Reports indicate that Frankel was so upset over the poor turnout that she left her stand at the BookExpo America event after signing only a few books for her fans.

A witness told Page Six: "There were four people in line for Bethenny. Representatives for her publisher were sent out around the expo to recruit people to come to her stand. Through sheer hard work they managed to get some people over. After blaming others for the poor turnout, Bethenny left the show early."

The book, which is "inspired by her own life about two siblings - a new baby and one diva dog," is due to hit bookshelves this September.
