The 2011 erotic romance novel Fifty Shades of Grey from Brit author E.L. James is ready to break hearts come Valentine's Day 2015. The book has gone on to sell over 100 million copies worldwide and it looks like the movie production has just added a new face -- director Sam Taylor-Wood has cast her real life husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson in an unspecified role. The Kick Ass actor can currently be seen in Godzilla in a failed attempt to kill a gigantic monster.

According to the The Daily Mail, Taylor-Wood is in post production working hard to edit the film. The auteur added "It's going good. I'm editing it right now, so I'm deep in the thick of it." Irish actor Jamie Dornan plays the billionaire Grey, while 21 Jump Street actress Dakota Johnson (daughter of Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith) stepped in the role of Ms. Steel.

Whatever role Taylor-Johnson is cast in, it is sure to be a departure from his days of spandex crime fighting and monster hunting. While newcomer Irishman Dornan is getting all of the attention, the director hired her husband to fly under the radar and get cast in an unknown role. While both Sam and Aaron are mum on who he will play, they certainly are keeping it in the family.

Throw in some deeply erotic scenes and a penchant for sadomasachism as well as acts of sexual bondage and discipline and it is a formula that has producers seeing green. The sexual dominance and submission aspects of the narrative harken back to the film Secretary, starring James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal. However, this book has truly taken on a life of its own.

Fifty Shades of Grey premieres in theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
