Josh Kaufman has a lot going on these days thanks to his victorious win during last season's The Voice and now it looks like the hopefully R&B chart topper might be working with some big names in the coming weeks.

There's been speculation that his Voice coach Usher might want to help him record his upcoming album. Kaufman says that he wants his debut record to be a mix of different musical genres, but mostly wants to keep it with an R&B theme, which Usher can no doubt help give him a helping hand on.

"It's a matter of figuring out what a record is going to look like as the root of everything I do is kind of a soulfulness. That's at the heart of whatever it is, so I think you can take that and add a pop element," Kaufman says. "You can add a rock element to that. You can go a lot of different directions, but it is definitely going to be centered on soul."

Meanwhile, it looks like Usher is still enjoying his natural high after ending Adam Levine and Blake Shelton's winning streak with his own win on the show. The chart topper posted a video of him jumping into a swimming pool with an inflatable whale with a celebratory cannonball.

"Some people just don't know how to act #Friday #DontYouHate #iWonTheVoice," the R&B star captioned his Instagram video.

He also playfully asked, "Don't you hate how randomly people become kids as soon as they see a pool?"

The Voice Season 7 returns this fall with returning judges Adam and Blake along with newcomers Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams on NBC.
