Pop star Katy Perry has been talked about nonstop on what's going on with her love life, and the singer has reportedly revealed where it currently stands.

The Dark Horse singer is on the cover of the July issue of Cosmopolitan where the details of her romance has been exposed, as published on New York Daily News.

Perry mentioned what kind of men she's attracted to, which gives more insight on her previous relationship with John Mayer as well as her previous marriage to Russell Brand.

"I guess I happen to be attracted to high-frequency men," she said.

"It feels like a hundred lifetimes ago, so it's like digging up an old grave. A lot of therapy has happened and a lot of understanding and growth," Perry added.

The Birthday singer then dished on what she had to deal with to become the person she is today.

"Sometimes you have to go through all this s--- to get your grips on life and figure out what the next boundaries in your love life are going to be," Perry said. "You have to go through the mud in order to find that peaceful place. In the long run, it was necessary for me to have more of a teammate."

The singer then gave the impression that a new boyfriend will likely come her way shortly.

"I don't stay single for long," she said. "I'm not like Professor Higgins with my sex life."

Perry also revealed that the longest she's gone without sex was "maybe six months or a year."
