Former Disney star Miley Cyrus wore bright red lipstick, a denim corset top and a USA headband while posed in front of an American flag.

Britney Spears revealed a family photo of her with her fiancé Jason Trawick and her two sons Jayden James and Sean Preston in Hawaii with the caption: "Happy 4th of July from the Aloha State!"

Beyonce's photo indicated she had also spent the day with family- her younger sister Solange

tweeted a picture of a family photo of the two sisters together their mother Tina Knowles and family relatives.

Singer Jennifer Hudson released a picture of her with fiance' David Otunga, who was wearing an oversize patriotic-themed hat. Hudson shared with the world today that he was just confirmed for his first movie role via Twitter:

"America's Got Talent" co-host Nick Cannon also wore an oversized hat, he tweeted a picture of himself wearing it with the caption: "4th of July Hamptons Swag".

An unidentified female's hand on his chest wering a butterfly ring can be seen in the photo. His wife, singer Mariah Carey is known for wearing butterfly-themed jewelry so reports stated it was likely hers.

Kim Kardashian's younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner tweeted separate photos of themselves on their individual Twitter accounts wearing a patriotic-theme bikini.

The 14-year-old model/reality star Kylie and her big sister Kendall of the hit E! Network reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," recently announced that they are writing a book together, according to E! News.

The girls are collaborating with co-writer Maya Sloane on a science-fiction story set 200 years in the future, which is due out next summer.

"We want to do something so different," Kendall told E! News. "Something that we really love."
