Lindsay Lohan Red Hair: Actress Goes Back to Her Roots [Photo]

Lindsay Lohan goes back to her roots and returns to being a redhead. Lindsay has had many different looks since her younger days as a redhead, trying everything from blonde, to brunette, to highlights. What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than to do it with red hair. Lindsay dyed her hair back to its original shade and immediately shared a photo with her Twitter followers. She hasn't said if her change came due to a new role in a movie or if she went red in honor of her country.She was spotted with red hair yesterday leaving Katy Perry's Santa Monica party with James Deen Party.

With all the craziest that has been going on with Lindsay, she is trying to do whatever she can do to revamp her image. She wants people to take her more serious in the Hollywood industry and so far it and it seems to be working. She recently just finished filming the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor bio pic, Liz and Dick. Throughout the course of filming, Lindsay had several different hair styles including a short, curly look and a Cleopatra-inspired hair-style.

In the past, Lohan has struggled with an addiction to drugs and alcohol. As Lohan's career started taking off, the more she partied. Her rock star lifestyle kept Lohan in the tabloids over the past couple of years. Her struggles went beyond the party secen, she also had person issues, from her father's prison scandals to rumors of her own struggles with bulimia. In May of 2007, Lohan was arrested after crashing her Mercedes-Benz crashed into a tree in Beverly Hills. Just two months later, she was arrested again in Santa Monica after she allegedly engaged in a car chase with the mother of her former personal assistant during both incidents, Lohan was found in possession of small amounts of cocaine, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. After all her legal run-ins, Lohan was only charged with two counts each of driving under the influence, and a single count of reckless driving. The Mean Girls actress headed straight to Shore Bar in Santa Monica Wednesday night with handsome porn star James Deen. Now that's she back to her roots, hopefully she can go back to the talented redhead we know from movies like Parent Trap and Mean Girls.
