One of the stars of The Walking Dead might find themselves going from fighting zombies to fighting judge Len Goodman with a potential stint on Dancing with the Stars.

Vincent M. Ward, who played Oscar on Season 3 of The Walking Dead, discussed the possibility of competing on the dance competition show with Enrique's The Walking Dead Live Podcast.

"What's funny is all my friends always ask me about that," Ward said. "They always ask me, 'Why don't you try to go on Dancing With the Stars?' I'd put money on this, if I went on Dancing With the Stars, I would definitely ... if not win, get close to winning."

He then revealed that he was at an event by Chinese Theatre when members of the DWTS crew and dance team were there. They actually wound up interviewing Ward and saying that they would love to have someone from The Walking Dead compete on the show in the future.

"I don't know who would dare to do it now, maybe..." he said. "I think I could definitely give them a run for their money on that show."

He noted that some of the other actors might not have enough rhythm to really be a competitor on DWTS.

Casting for Dancing With the Stars begins this summer as the show prepares for its 19th season, likely to air in September.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date. It will, however, be returning to its regular Mondays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
