Despite reports that the cast of Amish Mafia has already resumed filming episodes for their fourth season, Discovery producers continue to hint that no such actions have taken place, and they are still in fact on the outs with the gang.

Cast Lawyer Confirms Fourth Season?

On the official Amish Mafia Facebook page June 4, Discovery producers continued to hint that the conflicts they had with the cast in the Season 3 finale were in fact still not settled, by wishing star Esther Schmucker a happy birthday wish -- and saying they hadn't seen her in months.

"Though the cast refuses to acknowledge our crew we still hope Esther Schmucker has a happy birthday. She was always a pleasure to work with," a photo of Schmucker was captioned.

'Amish Mafia' Cast Secretly Filming Episodes For Fourth Season?

Schmucker, her brother, John, Mafia leader Lebanon Levi Stotlzfus and other members of the group all refused to continue filming the show in the season 3 finale -- even threatening to beat and kill the cameramen.

The finale saw the cast blame problems they had encountered with the English -- including Levi being followed by a private investigator and Esther being beaten by her English boyfriend -- on the crew of the show, bringing them into an abandoned barn and telling them they would no longer film the show.

However, since filming allegedly halted on the popular program, reports have surfaced that while there has been no publicly announced reconciliation, the cast has indeed continued filming.

Cast lawyer Steven Breit actually confirmed the news at John Schmucker's court sentencing for 10 driving on a suspended license violations.

Breit, who said the show had already resumed filming by John's sentencing on May 21, also said that John's impending three-month prison sentence wouldn't affect his filming schedule.

"I've been assured they will be able to work around this," Breit said. "The show will continue."
