Though he may be the father to several children, Kody Brown will be making sure one of his eldest won't be breaking any rules on the season premiere of Sister Wives.

Meri Goes Back To College?

Mykelti, his second oldest daughter with Christine, will be brought in for a discussion with her parents, alongside her boyfriend of one month, John, and the two will learn some of the restrictions that will be posed on them during their relationship.

The talk comes after Christine expresses concern over the amount of time Mykelti has been spending with John, which both she and Kody believe could quickly lead to something more physical.

"What we as parents want to prevent is danger zones," Kody says to the two teens in a preview clip for the episode. "Kissing, holding hands, that all leads to broken hearts."

"When you kiss, the person that you kiss, their hormones go into your mouth, and it registers certain things that will stimulate both the heart and the body for other reasons," he continues.

Kody then explains his reasoning for saying what he does to Mykelti and her boyfriend by saying that he thinks they're better off having a friendship for the sake of their feelings.

"If you get too close, and if you get too physical, the nature of it is that you're going to break up," he says. "I want to just say 'Hey, listen, have a friendship,'".

Mykelti's new relationship won't be the only concern the family will deal with in the new season. With three of the kids in college, money will get even tighter for the family when Meri also decides to go back to school. The family will also continue trying to keep their jewelry business afloat.

Sister Wives season 5 premieres Sunday, June 8 at 9 p.m. on TLC.
