Love & Hip Hop Atlanta co-star Mimi Faust's sex tape drama seems to have overshadowed the tragic loss of her father; and now she's speaking out.

Faust, who dominated headlines earlier this year after a sex tape with her boyfriend, Nikko Smith, went viral on the internet, broke her silence about struggling with her father's death amidst all of the other drama.

In an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine earlier this week, Faust said, "I'm managing. I miss him, and it's been rough."

She went on to say that sometimes she has to put on her reality TV personality face despite grieving and still going through the mourning process. One thing she refuses to do is stay there.

"You just gotta get up and keep going every day. If I stop and wallow in it, it won't be good. And I've been so busy, I really haven't had time to do that. I think that's kind of helped me out, too. My schedule doesn't allow me to sit and think about things. I'm just going, going, going all the time."

She added that her daughter, Eva, did not know her grandfather very well and only spoke with him on the phone. While she never was able to meet him in person, she was very aware of who he was in her and Faust's lives.

"She's taking it okay. She's seen pictures and we had the conversation about it. I think she understands as far as a 4-year-old can."
