Supernatural's Dean Winchester is now the proud owner of pair of shiny black eyes, and it isn't he first time.

Jensen Ackles Explains Ways To Save Demon Dean, Will Sam Have To Risk His Life On 'Supernatural'?

Dean (Jensen Ackles) has become a creature of his own nightmares, literally. The hunter received an advanced look at his demonic persona back in season 3's "Dream a Little Dream of Me," and it is definitely safe to say a glimpse at his life as one of hell's little minions made the elder Winchester brother rather wary of ever encountering that fate (see video below).

Unfortunately, Dean's nighttime fears have found their way into the waking world. Considering how virulently opposed Dean was to becoming a demon, how will the hunter react when he realizes what he been transformed into.

Jensen Ackles Believes Human Aspects Of Dean Will Remain, Talks New Demon Challenge On 'Supernatural'

"Well, unfortunately, we probably wont see the reaction of Dean because he's going to be a demon so he won't be able to pop out of that," Ackles explained at Rome's fifth annual Jus In Bello Con. "So until - or if - the real Dean comes back and Demon Dean is gone, then we might see what his thoughts about it are. I really like the fact that that was touched on way back then. Now I just have to figure out if I'm going to play it the same way I played it then, now."

However, Ackles isn't sure f his previous stint as a demon is truly indicative of Dean's future.

"Maybe that's just a figment of his imagination, of what he thought it would be like and then I'll play him different," Ackles posited. "I don't know."
