Insiders say the Hollywood couple have been fabricating too much of their family drama with bogus cheating and drug allegations, which has led to viewers tuning out from the show.

Although the show has delivered decent ratings for Lifetime, an insider claims that Spelling and McDermott's marital issues are becoming less believable as those close to the couple are calling out their show and along with the accuracy of Spelling's claims that her husband is a sex and drug addict.

In addition, reports have surfaced that questions presented to the troubled couple during their reunion show by supposed Twitter fans were actually from fake Twitter accounts.

McDermott's own 15-year-old son Jack has also spoken out about the reality show, accusing it to be scripted for rating purposes only.

"Reality show my a--!" he tweeted. "Its all set up plz don't buy into it. My father is not what the show makes him to be, he is a good man."

Lifetime has not commented on whether True Tori will be returning for a second season, leading to the speculation that the reality show will be canceled.
