The couple, who announced their separation late last year, were spotted together while honoring Jane Fonda at the 42nd AFI Life Achievement Award Ceremony. Douglas, who was given the honor in the past as well, was there to present the award to the veteran actress at the star-studded event.

As far as his marriage to Zeta-Jones, Douglas recently admitted that while they've had their rough patch, the couple is working on their marital issues with a therapist and that they are determined to get past their marital issues.

"We did get some marriage counseling," Douglas said. "I think if both parties want to work it out, it makes it a lot easier than if one party is out the door. Things are going great with Catherine and me. The children are doing well both in school and as human beings. I don't know many people my age who have an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old - that certainly keeps you going."

Married for over 14 years, Douglas and Zeta-Jones tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in November 2000.
