Blake Shelton Pranks Wife Miranda Lambert?

It's a lot for a girl to handle, and none of this is lost on her husband, fellow country music singer Blake Shelton.

"I hate that crap for her," claimed Shelton in Taste of Country today, "Because it's one thing for a guy to snap on a shirt and put some gel in my hair and do this type of stuff, but it's a way bigger deal for a girl."

Blake Shelton Plans Romantic Getaway for Miranda Lambert? 

Shelton appreciates the work his wife puts in, both as a musician and in how she always manages to look good no matter where she goes. He even planned a little getaway to Lake Texoma for the two following Lambert's tour, just in case she needed a reminder of his affection.

Rumors that the couple is leaning towards divorce have been echoing in tabloids since they married in 2011, but right now the country star has no qualms about putting Lambert on a pedestal. Shelton admires his wife's ability to "write songs and record songs that mean something to her."

"We look forward to her albums so much," said Shelton, "Because it's always a reinvention of herself and always a breath of fresh air from what guys like me are doing."
