According to PEOPLE magazine, Claire Danes and her husband, actor Hugh Dancy, are expecting their first child. The got married back in 2009 and currently are living in New York City, Danes' hometown. Dancy, star of NBC's new drama Hannibal, and his Golden Globe winning Homeland actress wife Danes are excited about making time for their new child. The pair first met while filming "Evening," according to TRH. Soon after, the couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in France.

Just last fall, the couple told PEOPLE they didn't have any clear plans on having children. "There's definitely a chance, no plans yet," said Danes when asked was there a baby in the near future. "But yeah, that'd be fun."

Currently, Danes stars in Fox 21's hit show Homeland whose second season is set to premiere on ShowTime September 30. There hasn't been any official comment from the production staff about her pregnancy. However, according to a spokesman, Danes' pregnancy is not expected to impact the production of season two, according to PEOPLE.

Will the couple raise their new bundle of joy in the Big Apple? During an interview with THR, Danes expressed her excitement about being able to stick to her upbringing. "I'm so lucky," Danes said during the TV drama actresses' roundtable. "I live in the same neighborhood in New York in which I was raised, and I'm so spoiled in that respect."
