On Tuesday, Daily Mail posted a story from the actor's interview with KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O where he talked about his first year as a parent to his daughter, Everly.

"Being a dad for the first year you're pretty much a glorified assistant," Tatum said. "You go get a bottle, you change the diaper and you try to not drop the baby."

The actor was then asked if the rumors of him wearing fairy wings on his daughter's first birthday were true; apparently, they are and that's not the only time he wore them.

"Yeah, when you're in my house you have to wear fairy wings all the time, whether it's a birthday or not," he said. Tatum then joked that his 22 Jump Street co-star Jonah Hill, who was at the interview with him, was wearing wings at that moment.

The actor also told People that he's become "solid" at changing diapers, which he apparently believes is a necessity as the dad.

"If a guy isn't good at changing a diaper, I don't know what he's there for, really, 'cause they're not there for the first seven months for any other reason than to do that because the mom is the end-all, be-all of everything," he said.

Tatum is married to actress Jenna Dewan, the mother of Everly.
