This Fourth of July, the world got to see baby Samuel for the first time since his birth in February. Actor Ben Affleck and his Wife Jennifer Garner gave birth to their third child four months ago and this is his first public appearance.

The family attended a Fourth of July parade together in L.A, according to Eonline.com.

Months back, Ben Affleck took to his Facebook page to make the announcement of him and his wife, Jennifer's, new baby boy on February 27, 2012. "Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck," he wrote.  This is the third child for the couple and their first boy. Since his birth, the couple has been private with baby Samuel. Their two previous kids, Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3 now have a little brother to play with.

Garner announced her pregnancy in August 2011, according to US weekly. In later months, she told Jay Leno, that she wouldn't mind having another girl, while hubby Ben felt either way was fine with him.

"I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first...I really thought so," Garner said. "And then [Ben] kind of said, 'Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I'm the big guy in the house.' So, now I'm not sure."

When Garner went on the Ellen DeGeneres' talk show in September, she had already been picking out baby names. She told Ellen that the couples top baby name choices were "Ralphie, Frankie, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, or Rosemarie," according to CNN.com

Despite not holding true to those baby names, gender was never a factor as long as they could do things their way. "They don't really care about the gender as long as we name it what they want it to be named," the actress said referring to the rest of her family.

Hopefully, now that the cats out of the bag, the world will get to see a lot more of baby Samuel.
