Scott Porter, who plays George in The CW's hit series Hart of Dixie, has revealed what fans can expect from Zoe and Wade as well as him and Lemon in the upcoming fourth season.

Porter chatted with TV Line recently and revealed that while he had feelings for Zoe at one point, he thinks she and Wade are the ideal couple. This is especially true since showrunners made it clear that George and Zoe would always be just friends at the end of Season 3. So it makes sense that George would want Wade and Zoe to be together. But what he did reveal that viewers might not have considered before, is why.

Porter said, "You have to remember that George and Wade have been the best of friends since they were kids. George has always wanted to push Wade, and see frustration from George sometimes....I think he realizes that Wade is reaching his full potential when he was with Zoe."

He added that while George was upset the infamous night Wade cheated on Zoe, he believes that Wade has "become the man George always knew he could be" and will therefore not try to come between "Zade" getting back together.

As for him and Lemon, they were the "it" couple the first season but things took a turn quickly after he left her at the altar. She seems a bit more forgiving as they had a one night stand in the recent season. But still, Porter confessed that it will most likely be the last time viewers see them get together.

"I think if we had a feeling we were going to be around for seven seasons, you'd see more of the Zoe/George relationship, but they would probably reach the same conclusion. We just went ahead and figured it out a little earlier so we could refocus the show going into the fourth season, what may be our final season."
