New rumors are swirling that fresh off of winning Dancing With the Stars this spring Maks Chmerkovskiy is dating a superstar very well known for her dancing: Jennifer Lopez.

As reported by Confidenti@l, Chmerkovskiy and Lopez are allegedly an item, and a source close to the pair is claiming to the New York Daily News that the relationship is "really new."

Those watching the American Music Awards in November saw the pair dancing together in a tribute to salsa artist Celia Cruz, with Chmerkovskiy actually lifting Lopez into the air. The pair was allegedly spotted at the Redbury Hotel in L.A. in March, where sources told Life & Style that the pair was very close:

"At one point, he put his arm around her waist and they seemed to be locked in a very passionate conversation," Life & Style reported.

With Lopez having recently broken it off with her boyfriend Casper Smart, the New York Daily News is reporting that she and Chmerkovskiy will be seen in public more often very soon.

Meanwhile, Chmerkovskiy is busy with another Dancing With the Stars, this time in India. He took a plane to guest judge on four episodes of the Indian version of the dance competition, posting a self on Instagram with the caption:

"Another flight! This is a long one....19 hours to Mumbai via Dubai! Finally gonna get some sleep!! AND there's a lounge in the back ;) Stay tuned for some pics from India!"

It is not known if Chmerkovskiy will return to Dancing With the Stars this fall.
