Gearing up for his new role as Ron Tully in Sons of Anarchy, shock rocker Marilyn Manson posted a photo of himself on the set of the show this week.

New Female Sheriff In Town Rules Over Charming In Final Season

The new photo shows Manson without all of his trademark gothic makeup, a rarity for the Beautiful People singer. However, he does have what appears to be an "SS" tattoo on his neck, which seems to be tied to his character being a white supremacist.

Manson's role as Ron will feature him serving as a "white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax [Charlie Hunnam] uses to expand his power base," as previously reported by Enstars.

[Major Character] Going To Prison In Sons of Anarchy Final Season?

The 45-year-old musician/actor said in a statement that getting a role in Sons of Anarchy was important due to his shared love of the show with his father.

"Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's. So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of Sons of Anarchy is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

There is no word yet on how involved Manson will be in the new season.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet made an official announcement on a premiere date yet. It will likely return in September, as it has in previous seasons.
