U.S. fans of ABC's Rookie Blue have waited long enough for the premiere of the show's fifth season; now that it's closer, viewers can get a look at the newest explosive trailer.

Fans Upset After New Guy Comes For Andy?

The premiere kicks off the season with yet another shooting that Andy has to face, this time Dov by her side. The two are sitting in a diner when a customer pulls out a gun and commands everyone to stay still. Dov seems like he wants to fight the battle but Andy makes it clear that she "doesn't feel like being a cop today."

While the rookies are five years into the game, they are still facing challenges and have lots to prove.

Dov Questions Chloe After Husband Pops In?

A new character, Inspector John Jarvis (played by Oliver Becker) reveals his uncertainty about the skills in Division 15 and asks, "Are you guys gonna be heroes or are you gonna be screw ups?"

Dov and Gail's love/hate relationship continues into the fifth season as well.

In the next scene Dov and Gail are riding in a patrol car when Dov admits that something he said, "Came out wrong."

In true big sister-like fashion, Gail jokes, "You came out wrong."

It's no secret that Andy end up choosing Sam in the season premiere. But they awkwardly decide to be "just friends." But their relationship takes another strange turn as the two are seen getting pretty intimate in the new promo.

Rookie Blue returns to the U.S. with a two hour special on June 19 at 9/8c.
