As Glee enters its final season, it will be going back to its roots, as noted by a series regular recently.

Jane Lynch Starting 'The Mourning Process' for Glee's Final Season?

Jane Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester on Glee, said at Fox's Girls Night Out event recently that Glee would be going back to Lima in its final season.

"We're all going to be coming back together in Ohio at McKinley," she revealed, as posted via Fox's Twitter account.

Glee essentially transferred to a New York-centered show halfway through Season 5, after another class graduated from McKinley High.

Lynch's confirmation that the show would be going back to Ohio comes after co-star Lea Michele (who plays Rachel) revealed that the final season of the show would not be set in New York. She teased this bit of information on Entertainment Weekly Radio recently and also added a few more details:

"He's [Ryan Murphy] told us individually our stuff...we all shared our stuff and then we put all of the pieces together and then we figured out what's happening next year, it's very exciting," she explained. "I think being our last season it's just back to the basics of what we love about Glee and I'm really looking forward to taking on a new role this year."

Glee Season 6 does not have an expected premiere date yet but it has been suggested that it will return in early 2015. Additionally, there are unconfirmed rumors that the final season will only comprise of 13 episodes.
