Amid rumors that Jennifer Lopez is dating Dancing With the Stars champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the pop diva has spoken out publicly.

Lopez took to her Twitter account to answer the big question on whether or not she is dating Chmerkovskiy, and she was very firm in her answer.

"No I'm not. (dating anyone new already.)" Lopez tweeted when a follower asked her about her love life.

Lopez recently broke up with her boyfriend Casper Smart but she has not already moved on to Dancing With the Stars' most recent champion. A source revealed to HollywoodLife.com that they are just friends.

"They are friendly and know each other," the source said. "Maks is the ultimate flirt but as of this moment, they are not dating."

Meanwhile, Chmerkovskiy has been heavily speculated to be dating Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis, who he won Dancing With the Stars with this spring. Despite their chemistry on the dance floor and in rehearsals, both Davis and Chmerkovskiy have essentially stated that they are just friends, despite their closeness.

Chmerkovskiy is currently busy with another Dancing With the Stars, in India. He recently took a plane to be a guest judge for four episodes of the Indian version of the dance competition, posting a selfie on Instagram with the caption:

"Another flight! This is a long one....19 hours to Mumbai via Dubai! Finally gonna get some sleep!! AND there's a lounge in the back ;) Stay tuned for some pics from India!"

It is currently unknown if Chmerkovskiy will return to Dancing With the Stars this fall.
