It looks as though there is another scandal brewing for the Robertson Family as there are new reports that indicate the reality television stars are "faking" their redneck-like demeanor for their reality show, Duck Dynasty.

Phil Robertson's Duck Dynasty Suspension Ends As A&E Reverses Decision

There have been previous reports that suggested the highly-rated A&E reality television show is actually scripted. Old photos of the Robertson family showcase a family devoid of their Duck Dynasty attire, which include their signature camouflage, face paint, headbands and beards. Instead, the photos show the family wearing "normal" attire and looking nothing like their Duck Dynasty personas on television.

"The costumes are for show, the bears and bandanas are for show - and more than likely, even the recent scandals are for show, too," says one internet blogger, "We have recently learned that A&E will keep Phil Robertson even after previously announcing he would be kicked off the show for breach of contract, due to racist and homophobic comments. In all likelihood, the scandals were part of a well-orchestrated hoax to get even more ratings, even more attention and ultimately, even more money for this already filthy-rich family."

Duck Dynasty Breaks Records Ratings In 2013

Even with rumors floating around that the show might be staged, fans are still tuning in to the highly-rated reality television show while Duck Dynasty-related merchandise is still flying off the shelves as many fans are enjoying the entertainment factor of the show along with the "redneck mystique," even if it is staged.

So far, neither A&E nor the Robertson family have commented about the allegations. The show first debuted on the network in March 2012.
