The official twist for Big Brother 16 was revealed by host Julie Chen Wednesday, and there will be more contestants on the block than ever before.

Returning Players Entering The Big Brother 16 House?

Chen revealed the big twist on her talk show The Talk Wednesday, revealing what will go down on this season of Big Brother.

"Not one but two houseguests will win Head of Household every week," the host revealed. "Each Head of Household will have the responsibility of nomination two fellow houseguests for eviction so that means every week a total of four nominated houseguests will be on the chopping block."

The host was quick to reveal, however, that just because someone wins HOH, it does not mean that they are safe for the week.

She revealed that there will be a brand new competition called the "Battle of the Block," which will influence the game in a new way.

Additionally, America will be involved again this season with a new interactive twist called Team America. Chen did not elaborate on this new twist.

Along with the announcement, CBS sent out a press release detailing the new twists, though no additional information was revealed on these twists.

"When the Houseguests learn about the new twists, they will need to throw out any pre-existing strategy if they want to survive in the game," said Big Brother EP Allison Grodner in the press release. "The new Battle of the Block competition will shake up the power in the house like never before. A Houseguest can go from zero to hero, or vice versa, every week!"

Photos of the new house design were also released Wednesday, and it appears to be nature-themed this season. There is a certain element theme for each room, such as fire, water, earth and wind.

The Big Brother 16 cast is also set to be announced this week.

Big Brother 16 premieres Wednesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
