The subject of which new characters from the DC universe will be introduced to season 3 of Arrow has been coming up pretty often and even wishlists have started to surface.

Stephen Amell Dishes About The Future Of Harley Quinn In Next Chapter?

On June 19 Moviepilot revealed its wish list which featured Wildcat, Queen Bee, Cheshire and The Question.

Recently TVLine revealed that four new characters would be joining the show, as the publication got access to the casting call sheet for season 3.

A 'Hong Kong Day' Episode To Feature In Chapter Three?

The crew requires three men and one woman, and one of the characters will actually feature from the past in the show. The character of Toshi will actually be seen in flashbacks as Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) mentor in Hong Kong. The female character, Akiko, will be Toshi's wife. Fans should get excited as there is one "tech-powered superhero" -- Daniel -- and a new villain, a "well-educated criminal -- Seth.

Idigitaltimes got the rumor mills churning and using a bit of analysis from the hints it picked from the casting call and a few other facts from the show's past. It seems like the existence of Kord industries was a major give away too, as Blue Beetle is known to be associated with Kord.

Here are the official descriptions of the characters featured on the casting call sheet:

"Daniel: Though Daniel could be a fake name to throw off spoilerholics, this 20-something gent - a major recurring character for Season 3 - is a handsome, enigmatic and highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology. (Picture a business magnate in Ryan Gosling's body.) Though exuding charm and confidence in public, he privately harbors a tragic past that will drive him to become a tech-powered superhero. Watch for this formidable fella to be a love interest for Felicity and a rival of Oliver's - both personally and professionally.

Seth: A well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry, this potentially recurring character gains power over his enemies by exposing them to a drug that drains their willpower. Oh, and he is very much a physical match for The Arrow.

Toshi: Majorly recurring in (at least) the Hong Kong flashbacks, Toshi (late 20s/early 30s) will serve as Oliver's teacher and handler, and eventually become a friend. A well-trained operative, skilled in weaponry, combat and intelligence gathering, he is also a devoted father and husband.

Akiko: Toshi's wife is another of Oliver's Hong Kong caretakers, and is herself highly skilled in martial arts."

The finale, titled Unthinkable, of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on CW.
