Miley Cyrus Engaged; Does Cryptic Tweet Suggest Engagement is Called Off?

Miley Cyrus being engaged to actor, Liam Hemsworth, 22, received mixed reviews when it was announced a few weeks ago. Many wonder whether the 19 year-old actress/ singer is too young to commit to marriage and whether or not she is making a mistake. A recent Tweet have people curious if the star is calling off the wedding.

"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus previously said to People Magazine. Hemsworth proposed with a 3.5-carat diamond in 18-karat gold with carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern, according to Neil Lane Jewelry in Los Angeles. The central stone goes back to the 19th century.

Rumors of the young couples' possible engagement began to rise in March when Cyrus was seen with a diamond ring but reps had denied any such commitment. 

However, in February, Hemsworth was featured in Details magazine where he confessed his deep feelings for his girlfriend of 3 years. The couple met during the filming of "The Last Song," in 2009, in which they played the lead characters. 

"She makes me really happy," he said. "When you start [filming], you want to be professional, but when you're filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you're not human if you don't feel something," Hemsworth continued.

Cyrus was happy to share the news of her engagement and even tweeted fans to thank them. However, now the star used the social media site to send a cryptic message that has some wondering if the wedding is off. 

"Maybe you could've been something I'd be good at," Cyrus tweeted on Sunday. 

Her ambiguous tweet would not have caused a stir if the line she posted wasn't from a "Tegan and Sara" song called: "Call it Off."

Many hope Cyrus' plans are not called off. Even the family of both parties are happy to see the young couple marry. 

"All I ever hoped for as a daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams," tweeted her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. "To find happiness...peace of mind...and someday know...true love." 

Hemsworth is currently working on his latest film: "Empire State," in New Orleans. And Cyrus is working on her next album. The artist recently released a single with Rock Mafia called: "Morning Sun."
