The truth about a long-standing secret affair may finally be out on Days of Our Lives, and the impending fight could have some epic...and possibly deadly, consequences.

Sami Catches E.J. and Abigail Together?

Sami (Allison Sweeney) and E.J. (James Scott) are just weeks away from their wedding, and by asking Abigail (Kate Mansi) to be her maid of honor, Sami unknowingly opened a massive can of worms. Abigail began freaking out about how she couldn't possibly watch Sami marry E.J. -- knowing she herself had slept with him. And while E.J. tried calming her down and assuring her Sami would never find out about the affair, Sami discovered the evidence that E.J. thought he had long-ago stashed away -- the photos Nick had used to try and blackmail him.

Now that she is aware E.J. and Abigail at least had a fling, the resulting confrontation at the DiMera Mansion could be brutal. Sami has always been a scheming character, but she is also known for her intense need to express her anger in unhealthy ways, getting into catfights with people at a moment's notice. Whether she will privately scheme to out her fiancé and his mistress for some time yet or confront the two remains to be seen-but when she finally reveals what she knows, there's no promising the results will still see all three characters still standing.

Rafe Seeks Comfort From Kate?

Meanwhile, Sami's once-again sworn enemy, Kate (Lauren Koslow) is still scheming to find out Jordan's (Chrishell Stause) secret -- a feat that is made much easier now that she has realized the connection between her and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). However, her schemes will need to take a backseat after a lunch with Victor (John Aniston) results in a surprising move. After working for him for years, Kate will find herself unemployed -- and in need of both a new job, and potentially some comfort.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
