While the good news is that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was found safe and alive, the bad news is that he doesn't quite remember his life before his accident on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Bill and Justin Worry About Their Involvement In Ridge's Accident Being Revealed?

While news of his memory loss is good for Bill (Don Diamont) and Justin (Aaron D. Spears), who were responsible for his falling out of the helicopter and into the Persian Gulf, it isn't necessarily good news for everyone else -- especially his fiancée, Katie (Heather Tom).

Ridge has been acting strangely since Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) brought him back to his family, insisting he just wants to go home and giving everyone strange looks when they go in to hug him. A doctor checked him out and mentioned he had suffered a concussion, which means memory loss is likely -- but the parts of his memory that are gone could affect everyone around him.

Katie Gives Up Hope On Finding Ridge Alive?

He doesn't appear to remember much of his most recent past, which means he likely doesn't remember being engaged to Brooke's sister. Determined to make him remember their love, Katie will try and get him to relax and go back in his mind to see if he can tap into the feelings of love they shared.

"Close your eyes and relax," Katie says to him in a preview clip for the Thursday, June 19 episode.

Her attempts, however, could backfire, making Ridge lash out that he doesn't remember -- and Katie will be left in tears as she tries to use her own feelings to convince him of their bond.

"The minute you tied this on my finger, I knew that we would be together forever," she says.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
