Filming won't even begin until September, but fans of Magic Mike are clamoring for any details they can get about the upcoming sequel.

Matt McGorry & Taye Diggs Auditioning For 'Magic Mike; XXL?'

Thankfully, one of the returning stars of the film is happy to oblige.

Joe Manganiello, who currently stars on HBO's True Blood and will be reprising his role as Big D-k Richie in Magic Mike: XXL, spoke with E! Online about the highly-anticipated film.

'XXL' Will Be 'Exponentially Crazier' Than Original Film?

"We start shooting in the fall," Manganiello said. "It's a road trip movie. All the guys will be back together and causing some mayhem."

This is the first official confirmation that the cast of the first film would all be returning for the sequel. The first film starred Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez and Kevin Nash.

The first film was loosely based on Tatum's own experiences as a young stripper in Miami before he made it big in Hollywood.

Manganiello also confirmed that fans of his True Blood character don't have to worry about him not staying in great shape once the show ends, as he will need to stay in top physical condition for XXL, promising Big D-k Richie would not have flab on his body in the film.

"That ain't gonna happen," he laughed in the interview.

Not too many other details have been revealed about the upcoming sequel film, though several actors have been rumored to be considered for roles-including Zac Efron, Ryan Gosling, and James Maslow.

Magic Mike: XXL opens July 3, 2015.
