True Blood's final season starts this Sunday, but one person who may not be that upset about the show's end is Sam Trammell. The actor, best known for his role as Sam Merlotte, is excited that he doesn't have to get in "sex scene" shape anymore!

Is Alexander Skarsgard's Eric Getting A New Love Interest?

"You have to exercise and not eat, it's absurd," Trammell told E! News about getting ready for those sexy scenes. "It's obscene how much work it takes. I just want to be passable."

True Blood is known for male nudity especially with hot stars like Alexander Skarsgard and Ryan Kwanten. "I don't have the abs. I'm not going to get there," Trammell said. "I just don't want to have a gut. I don't want to look bad."

"It's impossible to get rid of the gut," the Fault in Our Stars actor joked.

Anna Paquin And Stephen Moyer Get Naked On Entertainment Weekly

Trammell isn't the only actor who has had to show some skin on the show. Real life couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin have had love scenes on the show, but they've also had to be with other people. Moyer directed the first episode of Season 7, which included a sexy scene between Paquin and Joe Manganiello.

"There are moments where I'll be watching on a monitor [and say], 'Oh, Joe, just move your hand up towards Anna's breast. Good. And can you move your right thumb just a little bit towards her nipple? Great,'" Moyer joked. "And then I'll go, 'Babe, babe, enjoy it.' I'm certainly talking to her as 'babe.' 'Darling, go for it. Yeah, feel the nipple.'"

True Blood returns June 22 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
