Two new characters are reportedly going to make appearances on Witches of East End who will likely boil up some trouble for Joanna and Killian.

Season 2 Will Have More 'Handsome, Shirtless Men?'

While only so much information has been released about these mystery characters, it was announced that the actors who will play them happen to be stars of the classic hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. James Marsters, who played Spike, and Bianca Lawson, who played Kendra, are set to play these mystery characters.

On Thursday, TVLine reported that Marsters, who was once known as the vampire hunk, will play an old family friend of Joanna's who comes back into her life. Series writer and producer Richard Hatem posted the news on his Twitter page where he mentioned one other little fact about Tarkoff.

"Anybody heard of #JamesMarsters? Turns out he's a witch... @WitchesEastEnd #DarknessIsRising," Hatem wrote on Monday.

On Wednesday, Zap2It mentioned that Lawson, who played the other slayer on Buffy, will play Eva, who has some sort of big connection with Killian. There's no word yet if her character will have a good or evil connection, leaving some anticipation that she may be someone to watch out for in the season premiere.

In a clip from TVLine, Mädchen Amick, who plays Wendy on the series, dished on how her character is going to give Joanna a warning on some "major danger" to come.

Witches of East End Season 2 is set to premiere on Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
