Penn was seen at the airport leaving Los Angeles donning jeans and a green coat with his hair covering his face. Theron has been busy promoting her film A Million Ways To Die In The West. Penn meanwhile has been busy helping in Haiti through his J/P Haitian Relief Organization. Penn recently wrote about his progress in the Wall Street Journal.

"Haiti has made tremendous progress after one of the greatest natural disasters in history, but there's still a long road ahead," he wrote.

How Did Sean Penn And Charlize Theron Start Dating?

Theron and Penn have gotten very serious in the few months that they have been an official couple. Before that, the two were very good friends, something that Theron did not take lightly.

"If you have that kind of enduring friendship like we did, you value it and you don't want to just make an impulsive decision that can damage that," Theron recently told Today. "You always kind of have to evaluate or re-evaluate your actions moving forward."

Theron reiterated these remarks in Vogue saying she didn't want to ruin her friendship with the Oscar winning star. "Sean and I have known each other for 18 years. We were just really good friends. And it's been slow going because you are aware that you could screw that up and lose it," Theron spilled in Vogue. "We had to think about it. But at the end of the day, it was somewhat effortless."
