Under the Dome star Rachelle Lefevre recently revealed many details about the upcoming second season of the CBS show, including a tease of her character Julia's coming journey.

Under the Dome's second season is just over a week away, and Lefevre has revealed some new details about the season to Access Hollywood. The actress is teasing that the line between good and evil may be blurred next season.

"We think that we know who the good guys are and the bad guys are, and then we have all these new players, and it kind of rocks the foundations of everything that we built in the first season," Lefevre teased to Access Hollywood.

Julia had a significant arc in the show's first season, as she gradually learned that she was the "monarch," giving her a special connection to the imposing Dome. Heading into Season 2, the character will determine that she must use her special powers.

"Last season, I felt like she was doing her part by trying to keep everybody sane, like keep it fact based, get the information and really be level headed and try to keep the calm so that everybody would survive. And this season, I think she realizes that she's just gotta get her hands dirty more than that, she's gotta get more involved," Lefevre explained. "She has to take on Big Jim more than she has. And there are some physical aspects. She's gotta go out and sort of do some of the more action-y stuff. She's really gotta play a bigger role in the survival of Chester's Mill this season."

Lefevre also acknowledged the premiere episode being written by Stephen King, who wrote the novel on which the series is based. She said that she is excited for the show's viewers to see the premiere, which she describes as "really dark."

It has previously been revealed that two characters will die in the Season 2 premiere episode, but based on Lefevre's comments about her journey this season, it doesn't seem like it will be Julia. However, anything is possible under the Dome.

Under the Dome Season 2 premieres Monday, June 30 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
