Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson ended their romantic relationship a long time ago, and it seems that at least one of them might be happy that it's over.

On Thursday, The Stir reported that Pattinson was at a press stop in Los Angeles to promote his latest film The Rover when he revealed what he needs in a friendship.

"I think loyalty is probably the most important trait in a friendship," he said. "It's definitely very important."

While this could have had nothing to do with his ex-girlfriend, the actor added another comment on how he feels about his life right now, which may be a change from what he had during his relationship with Stewart.

"I was really lucky to have pretty great friends growing up...I think I've had all my friends for at least 10 years," Pattinson said. "I have a very optimistic view of the world -- mainly because I like my life!"

This might leave some to wonder if his view of the world wasn't as optimistic before.

There was a recent report from Radar Online that the actor shared some intimate moments with pop star Katy Perry at a party.

"When Rob saw Katy, his eyes lit up," a source said. "She looked gorgeous in a lace sequin black mini-dress, and they hugged and kissed."

The insider then mentioned that there were at least 10 other girls around Pattinson, but his main focus was on Perry.

"He kept kissing her the entire night," the source said.
