They have a great chance to broadcast their wedding on a family reality TV show but Wahlburgers star Donnie Wahlberg and The View co-host Jenny McCarthy aren't looking to make their nuptials into a grand affair.

The two have even compared their style of wedding planning to the recent nuptials of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, telling People Magazine they don't need to spend lavish amounts of money to say "I do."

"Don't be calling me Kanye West," Wahlberg joked about the rapper's wedding to Kardashian, which will reportedly be featured on an episode of her family's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.  "I like Kanye's music, but I don't know about his wedding style. That's a little too much."

McCarthy also told the magazine she was an extremely low-key bride, and that she was leaving the planning to her New Kids on the Block singer husband-to-be.

"I trust his style," she said. "So whatever he wants. All I know is that this is our last wedding and we're going to make it great."

The couple became engaged in April.

Fans of Wahlberg's family reality show, which chronicles him, his brother Mark, his brother Paul and their mother, Alma, as they work to expand the family's burger restaurant Wahlburgers. The brothers are often in conflict over their plans for the business, but at the end of the day, their bond as a family brings them back together.

It is unclear if Wahlberg and McCarthy will even plan to film a smaller ceremony for an episode of the show.
