There's a good chance that pop star Katy Perry may not be as single as some may have thought.

Katy Perry Reveals Her 'Dirty' Mind

On Sunday, Belfast Telegraph posted a story from British magazine Heat that mentioned that Perry might be continuing her rumored fling with her friend DJ Diplo. A source revealed that the two may have been hiding something for a while now.

"They never split up, as they weren't really together. They've been carrying on their fling in secret for at least four months," the insider said. "He couldn't get on a plane fast enough when she called...she really likes him. The chemistry is off the charts."

The two apparently spent some quality time together in Jamaica and had themselves a good time.

"Katy and Diplo totally had the best vacation ever," the source said. "It was her idea to meet him in Jamaica for a quick break before she starts her US tour next week."

The Wide Awake star recently dished to Cosmopolitan on what she had to go through in her past relationships with John Mayer as well as her marriage to Russell Brand, and how it made her the person she is today.

"Sometimes you have to go through all this s--- to get your grips on life and figure out what the next boundaries in your love life are going to be," Perry said, published on New York Daily News. "You have to go through the mud in order to find that peaceful place. In the long run, it was necessary for me to have more of a teammate."
