Manu Bennett, who plays Azog, the chief of the Orcs, in The Hobbit trilogy, recently revealed that as filming for The Battle of Five Armies was still underway, he is headed to New Zealand to finish his role in the film next month.

Final In Trilogy Will Deliver An "Exceptional Performance" At The Box Office?

Bennett spoke to The One Ring and told the publication that he was going to finish filming for his role as Azog for the final part of the trilogy in July.

Fans must surely be looking forward to the final showdown between Azog and the hobbits. While this will definitely be an engaging sequence in the movie for fans, the biggest highlight of the movie will be the epic battle, with the enemy forces led by the dragon Smaug. It was recently revealed that the film will open with the sequence of Smaug wreaking havoc in Lake Town and he will be something of a "killing machine."

Smaug To Be Slayed In The Beginning And Sauron To Play More Major Part?

Another very interesting highlight in the Peter Jackson adaptation will be the retrun of Sauron. After Sauron made a daunting appearance in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug it is being suggested that the necromancer will return and fight the White Council. But it is also believed that the White Council will most probably defeat him.

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies will hit theaters on Dec. 18.
