It looks like Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian has responded to critics who dissed her for rocking a Native American headpiece at North West's birthday party.

The 29-year-old shared a quote on Instagram with her more than nine million followers that reads, "You're still going to get criticized, so you might as well do whatever you want."

Kardashian shared the picture after she was in hot water with fans when she posted a picture on Instagram at her niece's Coachella-inspired birthday festivities. In the photo Kardashian dons a large Native American headpiece and sits next to a white teepee.

Kim Kardashian Slams Social Media Critics Who Claim She Neglects North West

She captioned the picture, "Ray of clouds. Chirping of birds. Gurgling of water. Granting desire. One with water. #Kidchella my first Coachella!!!"

She might not have meant any harm, but some fans didn't see it that way and viewed her choice of wardrobe as very disrespectful to the Native American community.

One fan left a comment under the picture and compared it to mocking African Americans.

They wrote, "I'm so disappointed. This is very offensive to native people and minorities in general. This is not ok. It's no different from wearing a Black face."

Another went in on the reality star and served up a little education on why it is so offensive.

They wrote, "Before you post something that says that we're overreacting or being too sensitive or over dramatic, READ THIS!!! You guys. Please try to understand. To us...it's not just a costume. It's not just an outfit. It's not just feathers on our head. It means something great. It's sacred."

They went on to write that feathers in the Native American culture have to be earned and celebrated throughout their tribes, not just something that can be worn at a birthday party. Another fan chimed in and slammed Kardashian for knowing better but not doing better.

"Everyone has heard about this controversial subject at least once in their life, everyone! I'm pretty sure she has too, yet she still has the courage to disregard all that she's heard & just throw a piece of attire on."

They added that in the Native American community, women do not wear headpieces.
