In good news, actor and comedian Tracy Morgan has been moved from the hospital in New Jersey to a rehab center after the deadly accident he was involved in in early June.

More Updates On Tracy Morgan's Condition

"Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks," Morgan's publicist Lewis Kay said. "While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go."

Morgan was critically injured in a car crash on June 7 while riding in a limo on the New Jersey Turnpike. A Walmart truck hit the limo that Morgan and his party were riding in. According to CNN, Morgan, 45, suffered broken ribs, a broken nose and a broken leg. Morgan's friend and fellow comedian James McNair was killed in the crash.

The driver, Kevin Roper, originally from Jonesboro, Ga., was reportedly driving 20 mph over the speed limit. Roper had also reportedly been awake for more than 24 hours. Roper has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges, which include vehicular homicide and assault by auto. Roper was let go on a $50,000 bond. Roper could face up to 10 years in prison, according to reports.

"We remain mindful of the victims and continue to express our deepest sympathies to the family of James McNair, and our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery of those who suffered injuries in the accident," Roper's attorney said in a statement released. "While this case continues to remain in the spotlight, we have no interest in commenting on rumor or speculation, exchanging a news conference for a jury, or sacrificing Mr. Roper's presumption of innocence for a sound bite."

In a statement released Friday by his publicist, Morgan and his fiancée Megan Wollover "wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him."
