Zayn Malik may be one of the hottest pop stars on the planet, but when it comes a to a date night, the One Direction singer craves normality. When asked what his perfect date night would be, the 21-year-old said dinner and a movie.

"It's very hard to just do normal things now and I'd love nothing more than to watch a film, go bowling and then have a nice meal somewhere after," Malik told Top of the Pops magazine about his ideal date night with fiancée Perrie Edwards.

"Literally just sitting and chatting," Malik continued, "just normal stuff. It would be amazing to be able to do that."

Edwards and Malik have been engaged since August 2013, but it sounds like the wedding won't be anytime soon. One Direction is currently on their Where We Are tour, while Edwards' group Little Mix is also touring.

"Everything is so busy. Hopefully we will one day be able to sit down together and start making plans," Edwards told Us Weekly back in March 2014 about wedding planning. "No date at all in mind yet."

Edwards also said its hard being away, but the two of them always seem to handle it. "It's gonna be tough but we always make it work," she said. "Lots of texting and talking. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I guess."

One Direction's next tour stop is set for Amsterdam on June 24.
