Though the new season isn't scheduled to air until fall, filming appears to have already wrapped on season 25 of The Amazing Race.

'Amazing Race' Films In Marrakesh, Morocco?

Thanks to a spectator on Twitter, fans now know the race ended June 22 in the Los Angeles, Calif. area.

The spectator, who was on a flight with four teams from Narita, Japan to LAX, posted a photo of Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks on his Twitter page, asking if anyone knew if the show has been on his flight, which was confirmed by fans who commented on the post.

'Amazing Race' Teams Complete Tasks In St. Thomas & London?

Though the photo doesn't confirm the exact location of the starting line or what order any teams finished the race in, it does mean the show wrapped up in Los Angeles, as teams do not fly back into the U.S. on the show until the final leg. It also confirms that while Hamilton and Dirks may not be the official winners, they did likely make the final three teams.

Meanwhile, show producers and creators, Bertram Van Munster and Elise Doganieri, recently spoke to Variety to give some more details about how the show is run, and also revealed a specific type of task that fans would likely never see again on the show.

When asked if there was a challenge that hadn't worked out on the show, Doganieri replied, "Not that didn't work out as a challenge, but there are certain things we did, like the 'Intersection,' where you had to wait for another team to show up and then do something as a group of four. That's something we probably won't bring back."

One new thing that the show reportedly introduced this season was an Immunity prize, which the first team to cross the finish line on the first leg would receive. It would allow the team that won it to present it at the finish line during a following leg if they wound up arriving in last place, allowing them to still stick around for another leg.

The Amazing Race returns to CBS on a new night this fall, moving to Fridays at 8 p.m. A specific premiere date has not yet been announced.
