There's a good chance that one of the main villains from Captain America might return for the trilogy to cause more havoc.

Robert Downey, Jr. To Return For Iron Man 4?

On Thursday, MoviePilot reported that actor Frank Grillo, who's known for playing Brock Rumlow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is more than likely coming back -- and the actor seems to think there's a good reason for it.

"I'm cautiously optimistic that you will see me in the not too distant future in the next installment of Captain America," Grillo said.

The actor then revealed that he was told how his character would fit in, and that he would be 'discovered' to turn into something else.

"We've had multiple discussions about what comes after that, that thing," he said. "So, you know, it's obvious Rumlow is covered in rubble and burned to crisp at the end, but you see he's still there. They don't do that for no reason."

Grillo then mentioned one thing in particular that's concerning him about his character.

"He needs a costume!" the actor said. "Coincidentally it could be a mask with a crossbones on it."

There was another rumor that Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes, could take over as the leading character if Chris Evans ever decided to drop his role as the superhero.

According to ComicBook.com, the actor said that he would love to do it, but it's not up to him.

"I'm just showing up when they're calling me," Stan said. "I mean that's it. But I wouldn't mind a little Black Widow/Winter Soldier story happening."

Captain America 3 is expected to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
