It was only a matter of time before Joan Rivers' outspoken habits landed her in court, and actress Kristen Stewart is reportedly taking a stand.

The Twilight star is taking Rivers to court because of comments she made in her upcoming book concerning Stewart's public affair with married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

The 81-year-old comedienne and Fashion Police host revealed to TMZ, "I am being sued by Kristen Stewart. She obviously didn't read my disclaimer, which is that it's a comedy book. I want to get a puppet, I want her to show me on a puppet where she thinks I claimed she touched her director.

That shouldn't he difficult for Stewart to do considering Rivers wrote in her book, Diary of a Mad Diva, "Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director's b---s."

Rivers continued to tell TMZ, "Her lawyer contacted my lawyer. Which shows the sense of humor she has...Zero."

She added that Stewart should just be happy that she didn't slam her as much as she dissed the Kardashian family.

As of now, Stewart is said to have backed off the lawsuit as she doesn't want to rehash her high profile affair that ended with a split with her longtime boyfriend, Robert Pattinson.

An insider revealed, "The reason that Kristen backed down from suing Joan Rivers was because she didn't want people to talk about the Rupert Sanders incident again. That was the moment that ruined her relationship with Rob Pattinson and affected her career, with some people thinking she was and is a home wrecker."

They added that Stewart is trying to steer clear of negative attention from the media as much as possible.

"Kristen thinks the statement Joan made is hurtful and untrue, so to give it extra life would be a bad move."
