NBC's America's Got Talent is known for finding talent in unique places, but this past week the performance competition witnessed an incredibly powerful force wrapped in the endearing visage of an 11-year-old.

Cellist Brothers Surprise With Hendrix Classic On America's Got Talent

New Jersey native Mara Justine comes from a family of five children and when she took the stage on America's Got Talent she was a bundle of nerves, but the moment the child began singing And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going from Dreamgirls, the judges knew she had what it takes to go all the way.

The little brunette, with thickly rimmed glasses and her hair pulled partially back with a purple tie, belted out the song with confidence and poise, captivating the judges with her charisma and presence on stage in addition to having a stellar voice.

Halfway through the number, Mara had the audience on their feet cheering and by the end even the judges rose to give the girl a standing ovation.

Judge Howard Stern told Mara that she really gave them that "wow moment," which brought the already overwhelmed Mara to tears.

When the judges asked what was going through Mara's mind, the girl didn't know what to say. She told them that this has always been her dream. "This is it," admitted a very humble Mara, "This is wonderful."

The judges then unanimously voted the 11-year-old through to the next round.

America's Got Talent continues live tonight on NBC at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
