MTV's Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans recently finalized her divorce with ex Courtland Rogers, and it looks like Evans has jumped right from cutting ties with Rogers to defending her new beau Nathan Griffith.

The very pregnant Evans, who is due any day now to give birth to her and Griffith's son Kaiser, recently defended Griffith against a wave of Twitter criticism.

It was reported yesterday that Griffith decided to leave the pregnant Evans at home and went out to eat. Nothing much would have been made of the trip, except the eating establishment he chose was Hooters. Teen Mom fans immediately took to Twitter to voice their opinions, most of which chastised Griffith for going there while his pregnant girlfriend sat at home.

Evans quickly rose to Griffith's defense, claiming "It's Hooters... Not a strip club." She continued to tell fans that she had no problem will Griffith going out.“It’s called trusting yr man baby girl" Evans told one hater, "U have a lot to learn.”

With Teen Mom 2 returning to MTV this summer, Evans and Griffith's releationship will be tested on camera. Now that Evans divorce is official, there will be a lot to think about moving forward, plus a new baby to look after. Kaiser will be Evans second child. Just last month Evans celebrated the approaching birth of her son with a baby shower, though previews for the new Teen Mom 2 episodes indicate that there might be some trouble ahead for Evans and Griffith.

The fifth season of Teen Mom 2 continues July 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
