They haven't been spotted together in public for months, and rumors that Ryan Gosling may be moving on from Eva Mendes with ex-girlfriend Rachel McAdams are sure to swing back into the spotlight as their hit film together, The Notebook, celebrates its 10-year anniversary.

Ryan Gosling The Victim Of A Father's Day Hoax?

No one knows for sure what the status of Mendes and Gosling's relationship is, but Notebook fans have been hoping for a reunion between the former on and off-screen couple for some time -- and as they celebrate the film's big anniversary, reasons for a reunion appear to be rampant.

MTV even listed a bunch of reasons for the film's anniversary that prove Gosling is the perfect boyfriend -- or at least, why his character Noah Calhoun is the perfect boyfriend, and every reason has to do with the romantic gestures he made for McAdams' character Allie in the film.

Eva Mendes Dating Zac Efron?

If rumors about the two rekindling start up again, it wouldn't be the first time reports have circulated that the two were considering rekindling their romance.

Sources told OK! Magazine in March that McAdams was trying to win Gosling back, and that he has been somewhat receptive to the idea.

"Rachel has been very low-key about it all," the source said at the time. "She's played it very smart and used the whole 'just friends' angle to get close to Ryan again, but she 100 percent wants him back. He's not the cheating type, but he hasn't been honest with Eva about how much contact he has with Rachel."

Though Gosling isn't allegedly the cheating type, a recent Cosmopolitan article claimed he could be a cheater simply because of his name. The website quoted a poll of 2000 women on siteopia.com, which pegged the top ten names of men who are most likely to cheat on a partner.

Ryan came in third on the list, behind Wayne and Liam. The other names included Matt, Craig, Steve, Scott, Dean, Mark and Lee.

Gosling and McAdams' relationship, which ended after two years back in 2007, has been known as one which Gosling looks back at fondly. In an interview with GQ shortly after the couple broke up, he even called McAdams one of the great loves of his life.

"I mean, God bless The Notebook," Gosling said at the time. "It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me a disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that."
